A good advice for moms to fight anxiety-what no one told you about being a mom-Christian mom blogs-Stay at home mom.
"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you" Psalm 55:22
God does not command us to feel good about His word but to believe it.
No one told us that being a mom would not be an easy peasy lemon squeezy. I think that if they would have told us we would still be moms because we would not believe them and because we can not stop watching them growing, singing, and smiling. ( yep, those moments happen every day!)
No one told us that we were going to be under a lot of stress and emotional turmoils so we were not prepared. And still, some moms are still trying to figure out how to do this job called: Being a mom.
Who cares if you are still trying to manage your morning job with your responsibilities as a mom? Who cares when you cry trying to prove to the world that SAHM do work? Who cares when you don't know just what to do. . .Jesus, Jesus cares.
Thankfully, we can boldly say: Jesus, you understand me. I know you care about this or that.I don't have to prove myself before anyone else because you have already approved me.
What a relief!
It took me years and little by little steps to get over what people think about me and although I still fight other battles, I can now move a little lighter because I decided to give this burden to the only one who can carry it: Jesus.
As moms, we lose so much precious time that we can invest in our precious children and husbands when we take the time to just try to solve all of our problems by ourselves.
There is no time to waste. We don't know how much time we have left. Jesus can come at night or we can die (which is 100% statistically proven that eventually happen to all of us). So, what are you doing with the time you have left after you do all of the things that you have to do every day to make sure your family is doing good?
Are you just pondering on the really good lives of all of your "successful mom friends?"Are you trying to prove to others that you are someone in life, not just a SAHM? Or maybe are you feeling guilty every day for not being a good mom and having to let your baby be at the daycare? What about not being perfect and cry, scream, or having emotional breakdowns once in a while? What about thinking that you are not strong enough to do even more for your family. . .
Just cast your cares on The Lord and believe that He is working good in your life and in the lives of the ones you love( And He loves, too. . .)
"Do not worry about your life."(Matthew 6:25)
Let's enjoy what we have and do the best of it. And don't forget about investing the time that is still left to just enjoy them.
